José Mourinho addressed the media ahead of tomorrow’s big match at the Olimpico where Roma will square off with Leicester City.

“Leicester’s choice to rest some players is logical, we can’t do the same,” he said when asked about Rodgers resting most of his starters in the recent defeat to Tottenham.

On Mkhitaryan’s absence, the Special One said, “We don’t have anyone else like him. In this situation we can look for alternatives but the objective remains the same.”

“I want us to reach the final,” he added. “And I want us to give everything we have. We’re here as a team, and tomorrow we fight as a team.”

On his one-year anniversary since signing with Roma, Mourinho commented, “This empathy that has been created between me, the fans and the team goes beyond the results.”

“I want the fans tomorrow to play the match with us. Don’t come to watch the game, come to play with us.”

Mourinho summed up the team’s chances of going through to the final, “It’s very much possible to win tomorrow, but only if we give our all.”
