Roma boss Jose Mourinho discussed the club’s ambitions for this new season as he attended the Gala Quinas de Ouro in Portugal.
“I feel good. After all these years I still like to win and I hate to lose. Nothing’s changed,” remarked the Special One. “I’m motivated and I want to continue, perhaps not for another 22 years, but still, a few more years.
“Last season we did what no one expected us to do, this year we will try to do better,” he said, referring to Roma’s Conference League win in May.
“We don’t have the same economic potential as our rivals, we spent only a few millions euros in the summer, but we have quality, passion, lots of people who like to work together, which is an important thing, and then at the end of the season we will see where it gets us.”
