Mourinho discusses Roma’s work ethic

Andy Mattioli

Jose Mourinho discussed how Roma’s work ethic makes up for the technical limits.

In last night’s post-match presser, the Special One went in depth about his side’s dedication and hard work which has helped them climb to behind the likes of Napoli and Lazio in the Serie A table.

“We have had some bad results at home,” Mourinho remarked when asked about Roma’s defensive stability at the Olimpico. “We lost badly against Cremona and Sassuolo, for example. It’s not that we’re a perfect team, we’re having trouble getting three victories in a row, we haven’t mastered the consistency of results yet.”

“We work a lot and when we can’t work on the pitch, we work together at Trigoria and we always try to analyze our opponents, their strongest players and understand what the next opponent will try and do, and find the best way to play. We do our job as best we can, we’re a group of real hard-working men.”
