Nicolo Zaniolo will not be taking part in tomorrow’s Serie A fixture with Spezia.
The player, along with his agent, communicated to the club his intention to leave before the end of the transfer window. As a result, the player also demanded to be excluded from tomorrow’s engagement.
According to Sky Sport, Zaniolo regularly trained with the rest of the team today.
However, Jose Mourinho has already told him that he will not feature in Roma’s crucial big match with Napoli on 29 January.
The Portuguese manager does not want to rely on a player who is clearly not focused on team objectives for the time being.
