Roma are being linked with Japanese midfielder Daichi Kamada of Eintracht Frankfurt as a potential January reinforcement.
According to Il Romanista, Mourinho has identified Kamada as one of his preferred options for Roma’s midfield: the 26-year-old’s versatility allows him to switch positions from attacking midfielder to a false nine, resulting in 7 goals and 3 assists in 13 league games so far this season.
Kamada’s contract with Frankfurt is set to expire in June and so far there have been no signs of the player renewing anytime soon with the German side.
Roma are planning to offer Kamada a convincing salary proposal which would exceed considerably the current €500,000 he earns in the Bundesliga.
