Roma manager José Mourinho refused to comment on the multiple refereeing controversies that were at the center of his team’s 2-1 loss this evening to Milan.

The Portuguese technician was visibly furious after the Rossoneri were awarded, and subsequently scored on, a free-kick from just outside Roma’s penalty area in the first half.

It didn’t take long from after the break for Maresca to draw Mourinho’s anger again after he awarded Milan an extremely questionable penalty, which was scored by Franck Kessié.

When asked to comment on Maresca’s decisions, the 58 year-old preferred to stay quiet.

“Congratulations to Milan, I don’t want to say anything more because if I speak I won’t be allowed on the bench on Sunday,” he said.

“But I’m very angry by the lack of respect given to our supporters (from the referee). My compliments to Milan, but to see no respect given to the Romanisti is tough.”
