Jose Mourinho expressed his satisfaction with the team’s effort in the first three official outings of 2023 in an interview with Roma TV following the Giallorossi’s win over Genoa.
“For those who are not influenced by what the media say, this is a positive start to the year,” said the Special One. “What’s important is to always give your best and it’s something I learned as a child. We won against Bologna, won today and drew against Milan and perhaps the defeat will come eventually but we always give our best.”
“Genoa were well set-up, defended very well and and played from the back and maintained possession. They made it difficult for us but our attitude was impeccable. We were in control for the entire duration of the match.”
