Jose Mourinho spoke to Sky Sport following his press conference for tomorrow night’s Roma-Ludogorets at the Stadio Olimpico. The Special One discussed Zaniolo’s reduced Europa League ban as well as the next Primavera player to make his senior debut.

“Justice was served today for Zaniolo,” said the Portuguese technician. “I didn’t like it at all when they announced a three-match ban for him, so the UEFA’s response to our appeal made me happy.”

“It’s only right for Nicolo, and it’s right for UEFA. From a sporting point of view, Nicolo can help us in a crucial match,” he added.

“It’s important to give younger players a chance, but what’s more important is to get them ready for the big leap to senior football. We did it with Bove, Zalewski and Volpato. Tahirovic is up next.”

“Another sold-out stadium? It’s a huge success for the club. It’s fantastic. It’s how the Roma family stay together. It makes me very happy.”
