Jose Mourinho and his players held a meeting following the defeat in the Derby with Lazio and ahead of the must-win game with Milan later tonight.

The Special One skipped Thursday’s training after obtaining permission from the club. The Portuguese technician reportedly worked on the final touches for his Netflix documentary.

However, upon his return to the Italian capital on Friday, Corriere della Sera reports that Mourinho, together with his staff, held a serious and ‘tough’ confrontation, with several instances where the manager addressed individual players, singling out those whose performances have not been up to standard as of late.

Despite this confrontation, Mourinho himself declared during Saturday’s presser that he is not going to punish anyone. The coach’s aim to pull the team out of their slump through the collective effort that made the difference in previous years of this tenure.
