Roma boss Jose Mourinho sat down with La Gazzetta dello Sport to deliver a lengthy interview ahead of the highly anticipated Inter showdown at the San Siro on Saturday night. The Portuguese technician will be forced to watch the game from the stands following his recent suspension.
The Italian newspaper published some excerpts from the conversation with the Special One.
“It’s impossible for me to choose,” Mourinho replied when asked about his most meaningful trophy. “Every win is special and every trophy means something on its own.”
“Francesco Totti’s return to the club? For me there is no problem. Francesco was and always will be a symbol of Roma, no matter what happens or what he decides to do in the next few years.”
“I will do everything I can to help Roma win again,” Mourinho told La Gazzetta. “Because my desire to will never go away,” he concluded.
