Jose Mourinho is reportedly in talks with Saudi club Al-Shabab only a few days after having been sacked by Roma.

The Portuguese technician departed the Giallorossi with immediate effect on Tuesday morning after a string of poor performances saw Roma drop to ninth place in the league with only 29 points to show for their first 20 games of the season. In his place, Daniele De Rossi was appointed as interim manager.

In the meantime, Saudi news portal Asharq Al-Awsat reports that Mourinho and his entourage are already working to secure him a new destination, this time being Al-Shabab.

Al Shabab are said to have reached a verbal agreement with Mourinho, who would immediately take the place of Croatian Igor Biscan at the helm of the team currently eleventh in the Saudi Pro League, with 21 points won in 19 games.

The meeting between Mourinho and the Saudi club reportedly took place on Zoom. Mourinho could travel to Riyadh in the next few days.
