The future of several Roma players is currently in jeopardy including the likes of Jordan Veretout and Bryan Cristante. However, Edoardo Bove is reportedly not one of them, argues Il Messaggero.
Despite only making 9 league appearances so far this season, the former Primavera player has got Jose Mourinho’s trust, and is one of the few players that impressed the Special One from the very first day in preseason training camp.
The youngster’s attitude, his willingness to sit on the bench and make himself available whenever an emergency in the midfield were to arise, like in the 2-2 draw against Hellas Verona where he helped the team level the result, Bove has won Mourinho’s respect and this may have an impact on the 19-year-old’s future.
According to the Italian newspaper, Bove will not move away from the capital in the summer. Mourinho intends to keep him at his disposal and develop him into a regular starter.
That is why Bove renewed his contract with the Giallorossi until 2025 a few months.
Him, Oliveira and Pellegrini are the only names in the midfield whose future will certainly continue to unfold in Rome.
