Roma manager Jose Mourinho took the time to single out a couple of performances in tonight’s narrow defeat to Juventus.

In his post-match media appearance with DAZN, Mourinho praised Evan Ndicka and Rasmus Kristensen – both defenders join Roma in the summer and steadily grew into the team’s starting formation.

“I am very happy with the evolution of Ndicka and Kristensen. Kristensen was there on Juve’s goal from the rebound, Ndicka was in a position that keeps them onside, but I am proud of their growth. I also think that it’s even more of a shame because now Ndicka will leave for AFCON.”

“I feel just as proud when I see Bove playing in this stadium against this team and he does it with great personality. There are many things that make me proud about my team and the players on it.”
