Former Roma boss Jose Mourinho publicly commented on his recent spell at the capital club which came to an end in January after two and a half years.

During today’s appearance at the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Saudi Arabia, Mourinho was interviewed by Sky Sports and asked about his plans following the sacking from Roma which saw him depart the Giallorossi after winning the Conference League title in 2022.

“I want to work tomorrow if possible, but I don’t want to make the wrong decision,” said the Special One when asked about his plans.

“Roma? It was great: we did two European finals in 2 years. That’s hard in a club that never did it. Now I have to wait for the right opportunity.”
