Mourinho nearing managerial takeover of Al Shabab prior to Roma friendly

Jose Mourinho may have found a new club only a few days after his dismissal from Roma.

The latest news from Italy suggest that Mourinho is in advanced talks to take over Saudi club Al Shabab.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, Mourinho’s entourage are currently locked in negotiations with Al Shabab after the Special One gave his approval to a move to Saudi Arabia.

There is increasing optimism that the former Roma boss could join the Saudi club in the coming days, which means there could be a chance of seeing him feature on Al Shabab’s sidelines for the friendly with Roma on Wednesday 24 January.
