Jose Mourinho said to be open to the idea of extending his stay in the Italian capital.

So far, however, Roma owners Dan and Ryan Friedkin haven’t taken any steps toward rediscussing the Special One’s future at the club.

Mourinho’s contract is set to expire next summer, but Roma have not shown signs of wanting to continue working together with the Portuguese technician beyond the initial three-year deal.

According to Il Tempo, Mourinho would be happy to rediscuss his position as he is very fond of the club and has admitted several times that this present experience has enriched his career like no other.

However, for the time being the Friedkins want to evaluate Roma’s progress throughout the season and consider other alternatives replacements for Mourinho in the summer.
