Jose Mourinho is reportedly open to the idea of extending his stay in the Italian capital.
Over recent weeks, the Special One has been repeatedly linked with various options from abroad including Newcastle United and the Saudi Pro League.
The Portuguese technician is yet to discuss his long-term plans with Roma’s ownership amid rumors of a separation at the end of the season when his current contract is scheduled to expire.
According to calciomercato.com, if it were up to him, Mourinho would willingly consider the possibility of signing a new deal with the Giallorossi: he is said to be very fond of the city, the club and its fans and has not ruled it out as an option.
Roma, however, have not shown any signs of wanting to extend Mourinho’s deal. The club have been linked with Antonio Conte and Thiago Motta as potential replacements.
