Roma and Mourinho have hit it off on the right note ever since the Portuguese technician was first appointed in June 2021. Over a year later, reports have emerged that both parties are thinking of extending their working relationship beyond 2024.
According to Leggo, the excellent rapport with General Manager Tiago Pinto as well as owner Dan Friedkin has spurred Mourinho to consider a contract renewal with the Giallorossi.
Furthermore, the newspaper claims that Mourinho’s family is also pushing for an extended stay in the Italian capital.
A lot will depend on the club’s future plans which as of right now are quite ambitious and continue to progress according to the Giallorossi’s busy schedule.
The recent exit from the Italian stock exchange, Toyota’s long-term partnership and the new stadium project are all factors that are bound to influence Mourinho’s decision positively.
