Jose Mourinho is preparing Roma’s second half of the season with the ambition of improving the team’s compactness and threat level going forward.

Ahead of the Giallorossi’s upcoming Portugal trip, the Special One is reportedly considering change in his formation.

According to La Repubblica, the Portuguese technician has worked on a fundamental change for the past few weeks and could switch to a four-man defense in the New Year.

This idea, which would benefit Roma’s fullbacks – Celik and Spinazzola – also largely depends on Gini Wijnaldum’s return from injury and his availability afterwards.
