Newly appointed Roma boss José Mourinho is already hard at work analysing the team’s roster.

The 58 year-old published a video on his official Instagram earlier today with the caption that simply read “Studying.”. Mourinho can be seen analysing the Giallorossi’s 1-1 draw against Atalanta from last April.

In addition, the Portuguese tactician is also working on filling out the remainder of his coaching staff. One of the names that he may add is former Milan goalkeeper Marco Amelia.

According to Sky Sport, Amelia could get the nod to become the Giallorossi’s new goalkeeper coach to replace Marco Savorani, whose contract with the club is set to expire.

Corriere dello Sport claims Savorani, who has been at Roma since 2014, will leave next month when the season concludes. The Italian has heralded as one of the most influential goalkeeper coaches in Serie A after the recent successes of Wojciech Szczesny and Alisson in the Italian capital.

However, the club’s new owners, Dan and Ryan Friedkin, opted not to extend a contract renewal offer to the 56 year-old.
