Despite rumours of a potential summer exit, José Mourinho wants to keep Bryan Cristante beyond this season, reports Corriere dello Sport.

The Italian midfielder whose contract expires in 2024 is the Special One’s priority for the summer.

The Portuguese technician considers Cristante a pivotal part of the team and dressing room.

According to the Italian newspaper, the player has drawn interest from several sides including Milan, Juventus and Sevilla.

However, Mourinho is intent on the club resuming talks with Cristante’s entourage to extend his stay in the Italian capital.

Pinto is expected to meet once again with the player’s agent once the season comes to an end and discuss the future of both parties.
