Roma boss Jose Mourinho was recently asked about Bryan Cristante’s importance to the team.
In particular, the Portuguese technician was asked about Cristante’s mistake while playing a centreback versus Servette last week which led to the opponent’s equalizer in the second half.
As quoted by Corriere dello Sport, Mourinho was heard telling the media, “Unfortunately we only have one Cristante. If there were three or four versions of him they would all play.”
“However, we only have one and he is a great example for the others, he plays with a very high concentration without any kind of superficiality,” added the Special One.
Cristante will continue to be a key player for Roma: midfielder or defender, for Mourinho he is practically always the first on the list. Things have never changed since 2018, that is, since he first crossed the gates of Trigoria.
