Roma are planning to strengthen their backline for the upcoming campaign and as a result have recently been linked to out-of-favor Manchester United defender Eric Bailly.
The 28-year-old is looking to move away from Old Trafford and may consider reuniting with José Mourinho – the coach who brought him to Manchester in the first place in 2016 – a good step for his career.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Mourinho is pushing Roma to try and sign Bailly on loan.
The player has two years left on his contract with United and could make a similar decision to former teammate Chris Smalling who joined Roma on loan before signing a permanent contract with the Giallorossi.
