Roma manager Jose Mourinho sent a message to his side ahead of tonight’s Europa League clash with Servette.
Only hours away from kick-off, Mourinho released an interview to Roma TV.
“Winning the first away match in this group was important. It gave us the confidence that we didn’t have last year, when we lost to Ludogorets, but you have to keep winning to be in a more comfortable position.”
“We must continue to win. This match is the first of two consecutive games at home and if we manage to win it, 6 points would be a good starting point.”
“Servette is a team that qualified for the Champions League, eliminated Genk, then with the Scottish team they were there until the end and they’re coming to the Europa League to do just as well. They lost their first home game which puts them in a tough spot.”
“They will come to fight for points. We want to win, even if it won’t be an easy match, and we will play with this intention.”
