Roma manager Jose Mourinho reacted to the drama that took place in the Giallorossi’s frustrating 1-1 draw with Milan tonight.
“From the point of view of our performance, the result is unfair,” Mourinho told DAZN. “Only we can play a match against Milan in this way with all the difficulties we have.”
“We are not rich, every player who gets injured is a big problem with us, we have lost many at this time of the year. Reaching the Champions League would be an incredible achievement, only we could fight like this.”
“I’m more proud than sad tonight. I’m still sad because the three points seemed very close,” he continued.
“There are coaches that pick and choose how to play. We can’t do that. We have to play with what we have available. These guys are fantastic, we have to give everything so we can to stay in this position in the standings.”
