Roma bid farewell to Mourinho earlier today as the Portuguese technician was sacked after two and a half years in the Italian capital.
Mourinho was replaced with immediate effect with Roma legend Daniele De Rossi who is expected to lead the team for the remainder of the season.
In the meantime, Mourinho and his staff departed the Italian capital in the afternoon after cleaning out their lockers and meeting with some of the players for the last time.
This evening, Mourinho posted an emotional video on Instagram, reflecting on his spell at Roma, depicting the hardships and successes him and the team faced over the last three seasons.
“Sweat, blood, tears, joy, sadness, love, brothers, history, heart, eternity,” read the tagline.
