Jose Mourinho addresse the recent speculations regarding his recent suspension which will force him to miss the match with Inter.
In an interview with Sky Sport, the Roma technician remarked, “Many idiots have said things that only an idiot can say. Even more idiotic is that someone from the world of football says this. I am the coach of Roma, I want to play with my team.”
“Unfortunately what happened in the last minute of the match against Monza happened,” added Mourinho. “The thing that I regret is that I won’t be able to be with my players on Sunday. I don’t know whether I deserve to be suspended or not, but it must be the same for everyone. I’ve seen other coaches do the same thing I did, others even worse, but for me it’s always the same story. I had a correct attitude all season long, now I’ve been sent off.”
“The same rule that is applied to me, must be applied to everyone else,” he concluded.
