Jose Mourinho touched down in Italy earlier today ahead of Roma’s preseason.
The Special One returned to the capital from his summer vacation in Portugal.
Upon arriving from Lisbon, La Gazzetta dello Sport interviewed the Roma manager.
“Am I ready? I’m always ready. I don’t expect anything from the transfer window. I’m just happy to be back here and to work. We’re back in business on Monday morning.”
“Frattesi to Inter? I’m not sorry he went there,” added Mourinho when asked about Roma’s transfer targets for the midfield.
On his two-match ban, Mourinho responded, “I was asked to issue a public apology to reduce the sentence. Considering I won’t have to sit on the bench in the August heat, I’m not worried.”
“Right now I’m not thinking about the market. I’m a man of the pitch, I like to work and I’m super happy to be back.”
