Mourinho reveals tonight’s pep talk ahead of Roma-Monza

Roma boss Jose Mourinho was asked about what he told the players minutes away from kick-off to Roma-Monza given the importance of Saturday’s half-time talk which helped push Roma to equalize with Juventus.

“Today I told the players that losing three points two games in a row is not good. We lost two points with Juve, today we have to win against a team that is desperate for a result,” the Portuguese technician said in a pre-match interview with DAZN.

When asked about Belotti’s chances of featuring in tonight’s game, Mourinho said, “I hope we won’t need him. He still needs time to get back to his best form. If it becomes necessary, then yes, I’ll give him a chance.”
