Roma manager Jose Mourinho is at a crossroads after his team suffered yet another defeat to Milan to drop ninth in the league table.

The Giallorossi have shown to be unable to react in the face of multiple consecutive defeats away from home. They have collected a mere 29 points in 20 games – their worst record since 2002/03.

According to the latest report by Rete Sport, Josè Mourinho would have told the team during last night’s post-match meeting that he is ready to take a step back given that the group does not seem to respond to his instructions any longer.

The Special One would therefore even be ready to resign if he realized that he was no longer able to have an impact on the heads and legs of his players.

Meanwhile, the owners continue to reflect on the club’s technical future, but given the financial difficulties they could hardly afford to sack Mourinho at this point in time.
