After two consecutive losses against Udinese and Ludogorets, Jose Mourinho is looking to bounce back with an away victory in Tuscany with Empoli. The Portuguese technician dismissed recent criticism regarding the team’s defensive mistakes.

“A lot of those mistakes are individual mistakes, they don’t fit any context, so I’m not worried,” the Special One told Sky Sport.

“Individual mistakes are not the issue, team mistakes are,” he continued. “That is the main situation.”

“Today we have the chance to climb the league standings, even if it is too early to see it. With our qualities and limitations we have to try and win.”
