Mourinho shares update on injured Roma players

Roma boss Jose Mourinho shared an important update regarding the status of several injured players.

The Portuguese technician spoke about the situation on the eve of the match with Sheriff Tiraspol on Thursday night.

“I doubt Spinazzola will be able to recover quickly enough, whereas we remain hopeful for Azmoun,” said Mourinho.

Then on Mancini, “Mancini has a serious physical issue but he will play through it. He’s a different type of player compared to someone,” and here Mourinho made a veiled comment regarding Chris Smalling’s prolonged injury. “Someone who at the slightest pain in his pinky refuses to play because it hurts. Mancini isn’t like that.”

“Pellegrini, Paredes and Cristante are all available for tomorrow,” he added.
