Jose Mourinho and his team were the protagonists of tonight’s crucial victory over Udinese at Stadio Olimpico.

The Special One led his side to a 3-1 win with Paulo Dybala and Stephan El Shaarawy both scoring in the final minutes of the match to secure the three points.

Following the game, Mourinho addressed Roma’s fanbase on Instagram, thanking the home crowd for chanting his name and dedicating him a standing ovation at full-time.

“Very important to get the 3 points today,” Mourinho wrote on Instagram. “Congratulations to the players and the fans that supported us as always and helped us to the victory.”

“I want to thank the fans for singing my name, I normally don’t want to take the spotlight as I believe all credit should go to the players fighting on the pitch but I did appreciate your demonstration of love.”

“Last but not least: today it was an especially important day where we stood against violence against women, we should always be aware of this and fight against any kind of violence, including emotional violence from powerful men.”
