One of the main protagonists of Roma’s recent run of consecutive victories was Dutch fullback Rick Karsdorp.
Over recent games, Karsdorp provided pace and experience, securing the right flank defensively and collecting a precious assist versus Cagliari for Romelu Lukaku’s 2-0 goal.
The Dutchman remained at Trigoria throughout the international break – one of the few first team players to do so, along with Andrea Belotti and Leonardo Spinazzola.
According to Il Tempo, Jose Mourinho plans to continue relying on Karsdorp in the upcoming fixtures. He now considers him the best option on either wing.
