Jose Mourinho finally gets to work with Ola Solbakken as the Norwegian attacker officially joined the Special One’s ranks in the New Year following the expiry of his contract with Bodo/Glimt.
The player was able to take part in his first group training session on Sunday morning.
The latest edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport revealed how Solbakken might fit into Roma’s starting eleven.
According to the Italian newspaper, Mourinho wants to deploy Solbakken as a winger on the right flank in a 4-2-3-1 formation, or as a trequartista behind Tammy Abraham in a 3-4-2-1 shape.
Although it is unlikely to see Solbakken feature in Roma’s upcoming match against Bologna, the Norwegian forward is nonetheless expected to be called up on Wednesday.
