Preparations are underway with the pre-season start date set for July 6th. According to Il Tempo, Mourinho will use this period to study more closely a select number of Roma Primavera players whom he decided to call-up in advance. The list of six players, besides Darboe who is already considered a first team member, includes the likes of Boer, Feratovic, Tripi, Zalewski, Ciervo and Providence.

The Special One may decide to extend the list in the coming days, however it is not likely that we will see Milanese and Bove on that list. The two are on their way out, with Milanese getting considerable interest from Serie B and even Serie A teams, while Bove is destined to go out on loan to Serie B.

On his first day at Roma’s trainings grounds, Mourinho will not deal with the likes of Bianda, Coric and Nzonzi, who are not part of the manager’s plans. They will train separately at different times of day compared to the first team. Pinto and Mourinho are still evaluating other players returning from their respective loan spells. These include Kluivert, Florenzi and Ünder, among others.
