Mourinho to rely on Dybala and Pellegrini vs Ludogorets

As Roma look to kick off their Europa League campaign tonight with Bulgarian giants Ludogorets, Jose Mourinho is determined to field the best possible starting eleven with the exception of Tammy Abraham and Rick Karsdorp who were left behind.

Abraham is still nursing a shoulder contusion, whereas Karsdorp is reported to have injured his knee in Roma’s defeat at the Dacia Arena on Sunday.

According to Il Messaggero, with Celik and Zalewski on the wings, Jose Mourinho will insist on starting Lorenzo Pellegrini and Paulo Dybala behind Andrea Belotti.

The Roma captain and the former Juventus man will eventually be rested in the second half, but for the most part Mourinho is looking to improve the team’s attacking output and wants to involve the two star players as much as possible.
