Lorenzo Pellegrini’s return from injury will mark an important addition to Roma’s current squad.

The Giallorossi struggled to create enough opportunities for the likes of Romelu Lukaku during Pellegrini’s lengthy absence.

For Mourinho, the most concerning aspect appears to be Roma’s inability to convert set-pieces into goal-scoring chances.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Special One’s plan for Roma’s busy December schedule will entail Pellegrini returning to the starting eleven with the objective of increasing the team’s reliance on quality set-pieces.

The Roma captain is expected to be already back versus Udinese which will be his first appearance in over a month and a half and two months since his last start.
