Jose Mourinho is reportedly ready to give another opportunity to Dutch fullback Rick Karsdorp.
Karsdorp seemed destined to leave the Italian capital this summer as Roma waited for the right offer to arrive at their doorstep.
The offer, however, never came and Karsdorp ultimately remained at Roma with the desire to reaffirm his place in the team.
According to Il Tempo, Mourinho is set to give Karsdorp more playing time after the international break as the Dutchman stayed behind and trained over the past week with the objective of making it into the Special One’s starting eleven with Empoli.
With Rasmus Kristensen out of Roma’s UEFA list, Karsdorp could also be looking at more playing time in Roma’s Europa League campaign.
