Jose Mourinho is expected to rely on Stephan El Shaarawy to lead the attack with Romelu Lukaku later tonight.
The Special One seems to be determined to have El Shaarawy start ahead of Andrea Belotti as Roma face Inter in Sunday’s Serie A entertainment.
According to most Italian media reports, El Shaarawy – who recently scored a later winner against Monza and collected two assists in the match with Slavia Praha on Thursday night – is set to play as a second striker against Simone Inzaghi’s men.
The decision may stem from Roma’s need for additional defensive reinforcements and a strategy that will largely revolve around quick counter-attacks in the face of Inter’s prominent possession.
