Roma manager Jose Mourinho did not sound too bothered about the latest rumors suggesting his position at the club was at risk.
“For me it’s not a problem,” Mourinho told DAZN. “The only problem in preparing for the match is that some important players are missing.”
“Smalling and Llorente were missing in defense, Pellegrini and Renato in midfield. We hope to recover someone so we can start again after the break, and start strong.”
“We reacted well after the defeat with Genoa, the players had the courage and serenity to win two in a row. Today there is a very difficult match and we will think about this.”
“Ranieri is a gentleman, he performed the greatest miracle in the history of the Premier League: he won the Special One. Over time we have learned to know each other and I respect him a lot in football. For me he is a friend and I respect him.”
