As Roma are about to enter their toughest opening stretch of the new season with 5 games in 15 days, Jose Mourinho is likely to continue relying on Roma captain Lorenzo Pellegrini.

According to Corriere dello Sport, the Special One will most certainly implement several rotations in the starting eleven throughout the next few games with Celik, Spinazzola, Zalewski, Karsdorp, Matic and Cristante rotating on a frequent basis.

Moreover, Tammy Abraham could also soon start off the bench once Andrea Belotti improves his physical condition and is able to play more than 30 minutes.

However, the Italian newspaper claims that Mourinho is unlikely to stop relying on Lorenzo Pellegrini from the start. The Roma captain has started in all of the Giallorossi’s games so far, and will continue to do so, especially given Nicolo Zaniolo and Stephan El Shaarawy’s absence.

Preferably, Mourinho will choose to have Pellegrini and Dybala exit most matches around the 60-70th minute in order to preserve their energy across competitions.
