Mourinho wants to keep Bryan Cristante at Roma

Despite several rumours linking Roma midfielder Bryan Cristante with other Italian teams including Juventus and Milan, the 27-year-old is reportedly keen on staying in the capital thanks to his excellent relations with manager Jose Mourinho.

In fact, La Gazzetta dello Sport informs that Jose Mourinho has made it clear to the club that he wants Cristante to remain in the capital.

The Special One considers Cristante a crucial locker room presence and leader on the pitch, and has thus prioritized Cristante’s stay at Roma.

The player’s agent has been in talks with the Giallorossi over a contract renewal, similar to Gianluca Mancini’s, that would grant Cristante a higher salary and confirm his status as one of the leaders of the team.
