Former Primavera player Edoardo Bove is drawing a lot of attention in Italy and has been linked with several Italian clubs over the past few weeks.
La Gazzetta dello Sport informs that, above all, Sassuolo are interested in Bove and are pushing to include him in the deal for Davide Frattesi.
The club’s main target for the midfield is in fact willing to join the Giallorossi as soon as possible, but the Neroverdi want the deal to include a younger counter-part.
For the moment, the capital club have offered Felix and/or Christian Volpato. However, Sassuolo took a strong liking in 20-year-old Bove.
Ultimately, Jose Mourinho’s verdict will prevail: the Special One wants to keep Bove at his disposal for next season and plans on utilizing him more compared to the youngster’s scarce usage in the 21/22 campaign.
