The young Roma attacker, however, hasn’t lost Mourinho’s trust, reports La Gazzetta dello Sport. The Special One is very close to Zaniolo, states the Italian newspaper, and will continue to rely on him in the coming weeks as Roma prepare to face a tough final stretch of games before the World Cup break.
Mourinho believes that Zaniolo is a difference-maker for the Giallorossi with his pace and physique, and that it is only a matter of time before he unlocks his full potential.
