Mourinho and his men are only a few days away from Roma’s fourth Serie A matchday of the season.

With the international break winding to a close, the Giallorossi are set to begin preparations for Roma-Empoli on Sunday night.

According to Il Tempo, Jose Mourinho is seriously worried about the status of Lorenzo Pellegrini and Gianluca Mancini – both players suffered injuries while on international duty and haven’t shown positive signs ahead of the Empoli match.

The two teams captains are likely to be out on Sunday, with Mourinho hoping to at least recover the likes of Nicola Zalewski, Houssem Aouar and Renato Sanches.

In the meantime, Paulo Dybala seems to be fully recovered from the calf injury that had sidelined him for the past two weeks.
