Jose Mourinho has made it a point to strengthen Roma’s dense and use it as the team’s backbone and catalyst in winning games.
As declared by the manager himself in the aftermath of Roma-Fiorentina, “We don’t score a lot so the fact that we concede little gives us the possibility to win games.”
According to Corriere della Sera, Roma’s defense is currently ranked fourth in Serie A with 16 goals conceded.
The Giallorossi are behind the likes of Lazio (15), Napoli (14) and Juventus (12).
