The future of Jose Mourinho is expected to be addressed shortly by the club’s top management.
In recent weeks, the Portuguese technician expressed his desire to continue coaching the club for the fourth consecutive year which would be the first time in the Special One’s career if he were to stay beyond his third season.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma and primarily the Friedkins – the club’s American owners – haven’t shown the same enthusiasm at the thought of extending Mourinho’s stay.
However, a decision is expected to be taken within the next two months as Roma face a make-or-break schedule and Mourinho could also choose to evaluate any incoming offers from abroad, especially from Saudi Arabia.
