Nahitan Nandez hinted at past interest from clubs like Roma prior to his decision to move to Al-Qadsiah instead.
In an interview with Tuttocagliari.net, Nandez detailed his thought process in deciding on his next career step after being linked with Daniele De Rossi’s Roma and leaving Cagliari after five years.
“I spent five wonderful years in Cagliari, a unique experience. On the last day against Fiorentina, the fans showed me a lot, I was very happy.”
“Now I’m starting a new experience for my career, an interesting project. I had the chance to play again in Italy but after 5 years I promised that I would not play against Cagliari.”
