Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan has returned to the Belgian national team. Following his arrival to the team’s training session, the ex-Cagliari man spoke. Here are his words:
“I am very happy to be back in this group, I suffered and was disappointed with the previous exclusions. I (previously) arrived late to a technical meeting but then I apologized. Since then, I do not know what the problem has been, I still have to ask. Martinez and I still haven’t spoken but I hope there will be a chance to do so in the coming days.”
”I want to go to the World Cup, whether it’s as a starter or reserve. In recent months, I have received the support of many teammates and fans, and I thank you all. I believe that call-up’s are earned on the pitch and I think I have demonstrated my ability. In a 3-4-3, my ideal role is in front of the defence.”
